Perhaps the largest gallery in the Netherlands, yet offering an intimate experience for each artwork. They present continuously changing exhibitions featuring contemporary art by national and international artists.
The exhibition offers a beautiful mix of figurative and abstract works in various disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, photography and wall objects.
The festive opening weekend is on Saturday 24 May at 15:00. We will raise our glasses together. The artists will be present and the magazine KNST! will be launched. A special city poet will give a short lecture.

Over the past 3 decades, 'NAARDEN the Art fair' has grown into the meeting point for art buyers and collectors in the Grote Kerk in Naarden-Vesting. More than 65 galleries, art dealers & antique dealers present a wide variety of Ancient, Modern and Contemporary art for 5 days at this historic location in the middle of the fortified city

Every year in the summer we work with a theme. Previous Summer exhibitions were a success and were well attended. It started in 2015 when the Tour de France passed the gallery in Oudewater. The FIRST ART FAIR is a sparkling New Year's Fair for contemporary art, with a broad spectrum of high-level art.
At the fair you will find painting and sculpture, glass, photography and jewelery from hundreds of renowned and young artists, spread over the stands of about 30 selected galleries from all over the country.
Everything that comes with "airy" will be seen in contemporary artworks. Wind, balloons, bubbles, clouds, holes, thin fabrics, foam and bubbles. Or think about blowing, floating, dwarfing ... The exhibition is made up of existing artwork within the theme and specially made for it. Paintings, sculptures and photography form the collection.
